Today the shredder is delivered. I write the "The Three Laws of (Using) Shredder" on my way carrying it from the delivery point to my lab in the campus, as a tribute to The Three Laws of Robotics.
The Three Laws of (Using) Shredder
- A shredder may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
- A shredder must destroy all the sensitive files given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
- A shredder should be eco-friendly as long as such actions do not conflict with the First or Second Law.
